OMG Day! Step up Talents!
Judge FD : "I want to see Cheerleading Squads!"
I caught up with Judge FD just before the taping of Episode 6 while the Judges were having their dinner and of course we wound up discussing the show. At first it was just about belly dancing, I said I had observed a fair number of belly dancers on the show and was wondering if he could tell me more about the intricacies of it since he took lessons. And my first reaction was - men can belly dance meh? And the rest of the conversation went as follows...
FD : "Did you know that most, if not all, belly dance masters are men?"
Me : "Seriously??"
FD : "I met a young boy* the other day, and he's just finished his NS, his name's Darren. And Darren I tell you, just got on a table and started to belly dance and he was amazing!
*When FD said young boy I thought a 5 year old, but I guess in relation to his age, a guy finishing NS would be considered 'young' and 'boy' - LOL, sorry FD I couldn't resist!
"Belly dancing isn't as easy as you think. There are 7 different shimmies, 8 different pops, there's what they call a freeze shimmy. There are so many tricks you can do. You can walk a drum around a stage while shimmying. (He means, stand on a drum, and like, dance on it, and move it while dancing on it!)
"People have got to get around this misconception - belly dance is not about being sexy. It is an art form. Yes it is sexy, but it's not about that. It's not about watching a naked woman gyrate. It's about being in awe of a woman's ability to control her body. Controlling different parts of her body independently of each other; shimmy hips while doing a figure 8 with the top half of your body - can you do that? It takes a lot of skill to do it. It's all about the isolations. Isolating actions on one part of your body from another.
"Desert Roses make belly-dance very entertaining, but what people don't see is the degree of difficulty in belly-dancing. If you really want to appreciate belly-dancing, go to Shiraz at Clarke Quay. You will see the true degree of belly-dancing, all the best belly-dancers perform there.
"There are some tricks that they do that will astound you. For instance, balancing a razor sharp blade on their chest while dripping hot wax onto themselves without flinching, because if they flinch, the blade will cut them - now that is control. (I don't know about you FD, but dripping hot wax on yourself is crazy! Kids - DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!)
Me : "So how'd you get into belly dancing?"
FD : "I started belly dance lessons because my wife was doing it. It was just a way to bond and learn something together. Now i want to start learning the middle eastern drums. Its actually quite painful when you're starting out, you get callouses and all but ultimately, I want to accompany my wife while she dances, so we can perform together.
Me : "Let's talk about OMG now, its been 5 episodes, how do you think it's going?"
FD : "I love the show, I love this format. I think its a great format. What I want to see, and I know these people exist, are the Chinese acrobats and the Cheerleading squads. Its about choreography, and the beauty of that is that it can change every week.
What else - percussion groups with real drama. I would love to see the 10-year old drummer that was featured somewhere. Oh, and there's this Chinese girl who plays the er-hu on Orchard Road - she's damn good! (I actually know who he's talking about, she sits on a motorised chair outside Paragon!) Or an acapella group, we haven't had that on the show yet, and I know there are many really good ones out there.
"I think Singaporeans are afraid. Take away the $50,000 and the fanfare, and what One Moment of Glory is, is a 90-second commercial for your talent. A FREE 90-second commercial."
"If people can spot you on the show, pick you out and sell you, it could make your career. You will earn more than $50,000. All those event companies and talent scouts, send your people here to watch the talents you could be selling to your clients. Talent managers, send your talents to the show and give them this priceless exposure. Use this platform.
"Back to talents. I'm still waiting for a Susan Boyle. Maybe, an HDB aunty who has this amazing operatic voice, but with no dress sense. If you put her in a room with two people you still wouldn't see her... until she opens her mouth to sing -now that would blow me away.
"Like I said, I think Singaporeans are afraid. When you're a professional, your reputation could be at stake. But, if you want to break into the industry, you have to be on the show. It is the best tool for anyone wanting to break into the industry (FD means the entertainment industry).
"You know, even if the ratings are not superb for this season, I think we must continue to do OMG, for the sake of growing talent in Singapore - we must do Season 2 and 3."
At this point, FD's finished his dinner and its time for him to head to the make up chair. Talking to him has helped me look at the show from another perspective. Most people see the show as a talent show with a $50k prize. I don't think many people see the potential of a show like this in terms of getting exposure.
What FD says is so true - this is a FREE 90-second commercial for anyone who wants to showcase their talent. If you're looking to gain exposure, this is such a great platform - you're on National TV. Plus, being on the show means there's a marketing team promoting you on various platforms before your episode airs - interviews on radio, newspaper, magazines plus roadshows. On top of that, you're most likely to be featured on the show's trailers which run across all Mediacorp channels, and on Channel 5 on high rotation. That's a lot of eyeballs.
And mind you, ratings for the show have been going up (my satellite ears overheard this), so people are taking interest in the show as it builds.
So if you (or a friend you'd like to nominate) have a talent that's unique and want to be in the entertainment industry, skip the fear, bite the bullet and come on the show! Simply email omg@mediacorp.com.sg to contact the producers!
OMG revs up to the next stage!
After tonight, we'll have our Top 8 Contenders and they'll move into the Elimination Rounds next week. The show gets waaaay more exciting and dramatic - there are weekly themes the contestants will have to work within PLUS the added competition from a weekly 'Mystery Challenger'. (If you join the show now, this could be YOU!)
So difficulty level is up and stakes are up too! If you are a chinese acrobat or an HDB Aunty with a golden voice reading this (or your mom is) we would love to see you (and her) on the show. Or if you're the captain of an AWESOME POSSUM Cheerlading Squad, get on the show and do your school proud. Even I would love to see cheerleaders on the show - Bring It On is one of my fave movies :).
Time to get goin', more to do in prep for tonight's review, so Happy OMG Day everyone! Don't forget to tune in tonight at 8pm, only on Channel 5!
xoxo, s.
ps. Thanks to FD for that cool impromptu interview!

OMG! Ep 6 Challenger Profiles : UP!
Challenger Profiles are up!
Good morning everyone! I trust everyone's pigged out from yesterday to today, I mean its Raya right? Even if you aren't celebrating the Eid, its a long weekend - excuse to go out and chill and eat and be merry :) To all the Muslims out there celebrating, Selamat Hari Raya, maafkan zahir dan batin. Check out the Challenger profiles for Jamila, Raz, the Junkyard Percussion Unit and Dan Thompson right here on the blog.
Dan the Man is back!
Looks like the 'wildcard' element may just be in play. From what I heard, it was the Judges who invited Dan back for a second chance. Perhaps they'll do the same for JonMaxGoh and C-Murda? Who knows. Anyway, since he's been here before, I've already got Dan's profile up from his previous episode. Check the sidebar for the link. (However, I am in the midst of updating it with new pictures, but like last week, for some reason the pics won't load, so I'll try again later today).
Any idea who's gonna take on whom next week? See if you can guess who's left standing by the end of Episode 6.
By the way, this is our last Survival Round. After this episode, we'll move into the next stage of the competition called the Elimination Rounds. And folks, this is where it gets exciting! We start off with the Top 8 and each week, there will be eliminations. And who goes home is decided by votes - 50% cast by the judges, and the other 50% by your votes. So you will then have a say! Cool right?
Happy reading, and I'll catch up with you all again later. There's a photoshoot for the Top 8 going on later today, so if you want some sneak peeks at what's goin' on, follow me on Twitter! Tweet up from 12noon!
xoxo, s.
ps. In case you haven't figured it out yet, David, Danny and Jill who have immunity on Episode 6 are automatically confirmed to be in the Top 8. So most likely, you'll be seeing them in my twitpics from today, cos I can't reveal who else got into the Top 8!

OMG Challenger #1 : Jamila
The Beautiful Belly Dancer
The first thing you notice about Jamila is that she is super tall. We later find out she used to be a part time model. Originally from Beijing, her real name is Hai Qing and she has been in Singapore for almost 10 years. She chose the Arabic name 'Jamila' as her stage name because it means 'beautiful'.

When did you start belly dancing?
I have been belly dancing for 6 years. I was looking for a good yet fun form of exercise. At the time everyone was into salsa classes. But salsa needs a dance partner. I'm 173cm tall and it was difficult to find a good partner, the right partner. So I checked out belly dancing classes and I liked that it was very flexible, you can choose any style you want from very classical music and also there's pop Arabic songs, so there are quite a lot of different elements and that's very interesting.
So I did it at first to exercise and get a fit body, then I really fell in love with this beautiful art form. It's so great, because women build up confidence when they dance this, and they can learn to enjoy their own inner beauty.
After 10 months, I joined my first Asian belly dancing competition and won first prize. I didn't expect to win, I joined to gain more experience. Also the other contestants were more trained from other countries.
That win was a turning point. I felt that maybe I do really have potential as a belly dancer. I now take a lot of Master workshops.
Do you go to Turkey and Egypt a lot then?
Oh, no, actually I do those workshops when they come here, usually on an Asia tour, they stop here for a 3-day workshop, so I will join.
What's different about your style of belly dancing from what we've already seen on the show?
I like playing small instruments when I dance. Its a very difficult skill to master. I will be playing the Zills, which are finger cymbals.
What are the benefits of belly dancing for you?
My body is more flexible now. If you keep doing it, you will be happy every moment. I have met a lot of local friends and its really nice to enjoy a 'sisterhood' with them. We all perform together.
So why did you join OMG!?
I just want to perform. I want to showcase belly dancing and show the audience what its all about and clear up the misunderstanding most people have of belly dancing. Actually the original name of this dance is 'The Oriental Dance'. Not many people know this. It was the Americans who changed the name because they brought it to America and wanted to promote it, so they called it the 'Belly dance'.
Thats not the right name because actually it's a whole body movement, not just the belly. Also there's a lot of different props we use - veils, fans, small instruments.
I like classical/traditional music. I like to be creative, so I can also do some fusion of Arabic pop and baladi songs (Arabic rhythms) into my performance. I just really love the Arab culture.
There was once, I asked the fortune teller if in my past I was Arabic. But he said I was a bird. I guess maybe that's why now, nothing can stop me, I always fly!
What would you do with the $50k if you won?
I just opened my own studio, so I'll put half of it into that. The other half, I would donate to old people and children for food. I also want to perform for the elderly to help cheer up their day. As for my studio, I started it to give young talents a place to teach. I know the difficulties as a young instructor, so I want to make it easier for young people just starting out by giving them this platform to make their dreams come true.
I think the people who are passionate about the arts are addicted to it. They want to showcase their art and it's all about the performance. There's so much we do for a simple 90 seconds. We have to choreograph, edit music, design costumes, do make up and of course rehearse and rehearse and rehearse to make that 90 seconds perfect.
What do you do outside of belly dancing?
I do a lot of charity work. I contribute a lot of my time to help new migrants from China. I was lucky that I was raised well and got a good education. There are so many from China who didnt get what I did, so I want to help them make a smooth transition to this new country.
Who do you think you'll challenge?
Desert Roses, Rhythm & Moves or Vertical Dancers because they are all in the same genre. Desert Roses would be my first choice, eventhough I am solo and they are a group, but we are in the same genre.
Catch the very beautiful and smouldering hawt Jamila perform on OMG this Wednesday at 8pm on Channel 5.
Do you think you're better than her? Or have you got a talented friend you'd like to nominate? Email omg@mediacorp.com.sg the details and you (or your friend) could be a Challenger on the show!

OMG Challenger #2 : Razlyna
Diva voice without the Diva attitude...

The first thing I notice about Razlyna is her gorgeous warm smile and sparkly eyes. What a pretty girl. And when she opens her mouth to speak, wah, what a husky voice, this one sure damn good vocals! The next thing I notice are the bandages on her hands. What happened?
"Oh I was just in a motorcycle accident earlier today. I was riding pilliant. I've got scrapes and scratches everywhere, which is why I'm so covered up today. Oh and by the way, call me Raz."
Well accident or no, Raz is here, all made up and ready to go. What a trooper!
"Yea, once you've been doing this a while, you learn to perform through whatever sickness or pain you have, because you have to be professional."
So why did you join OMG!?
For the exposure. My passion is singing.
What would you do with the $50k if you won?
I would like to study music. I want to go to music school. Currently I go for short courses. So if I had the money, I would like to go to a proper good school to do a full course on pop vocals and learn all the taugeh (huh? beansprouts?) All the music notes! (oh yes, they do look a bit like taugeh!)
What do you do in real life?
I'm a singer in Clarke Quay at Highlander. I sing six nights a week. 3 sets a night on weeknights and 4 sets a night on weekends. Each set is about 45 minutes. Its hard work and takes a lot of experience. I've been singing professionally for about 2 years now. Before that I used to sing a lot of Japanese songs. I taught myself Japanese, I can read Japanese! I even joined a lot of J-Pop competitions and won one! I was just really into J-pop!
Who is your inspiration?
Now? Alicia Keys. I love her. I even have the same earrings she had in her "Doesn't Mean Anything" music video! I'm wearing them now :) (She's so cute la this girl!) My favourite Alicia Keys song is "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart". I even joined the Alicia Keys Lookalike/Soundalike contest. It was the same time the Usher one was going on, the one that Taufik (Batisah) won. But I didn't win, I got Miss Congeniality.
Who do you think you'll be challenging?
Probably the Singapore Char Siew Baos or the Vertical Dancers. Not much to choose from. Probably the singers, so its singer versus singer. All the other singers are immune already :(
What do you think of our judges?
I like them. They are honest and its really good to have them as judges cos they are different.
Any one judge you think you need to impress more than the others?
Beatrice. I really like her personality.
What will you be singing?
I'll be singing "Mercy" by Duffy.
Catch sexy crooner Razlyna on OMG! this Wednesday at 8pm, only on Channel 5! Who will she challenge and can she knock them off and claim their podium spot?
Are you a singer with husky voice too? Wanna take on Razlyna or David or Jill? Can you do better? Email producers at omg@mediacorp.com.sg and you could be the next Challenger on the show! Have a friend that is awesome? Nominate them to be Challengers! Same email address - do it, do it now!

OMG Challenger #3 : Junkyard Percussion Unit
Eco-Music from the Junkyard!
The Junkyard Percussion Unit, or JPU for short is made up of 4 members - Julius Damascus Ong, 17, Bryan Lucas, 33, Jasmine Kaur, 23 and Nick (yes, just Nick), 27. They are dressed in orange jumpsuits, much like construction workers, or if you're like me, I thought 'prison inmates'. Watched too much Prison Break - sorry guys!

So what is JPU all about?
We're the green percussionist 'construction workers'. We're all about Junk, Trash and Recycling!
(indeed they are, all their 'instruments' are recycled 'junk' - very green indeed! I likey! Kids - learn!)
Why did you guys join OMG!?
For the exposure and also for the fun of it. And for the experience too. I mean, we have performed in front of like 10,000 people and we're okay but somehow performing to a camera gave us nerves.
What would you do with the $50k if you won?
Bryan : Um, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Jasmine : Maybe we'll have a group retreat! (all the guys are like 'yay!')
So how did JPU get started?
We got to know each other from a common friend. Jasmine does Punjabi drums, Nick covers Latin percussion, Julius uses the Western drum set (the ones we normally see) and I (Bryan) do middle eastern drumming. So, Nick and Julius are stick drummers (they use sticks to play their drums), whilst Jasmine and Bryan use their hands.
We are a percussion band. But we are not the norm. When you talk about drums and percussion, there will always be an actual drum, but no one has come up with junk and trash as percussion.
What about Stomp!?
Bryan : Stomp! is a combo of dance and music. We are nowhere near Stomp! Stomp is our greatest inspiration!
Nick : We're here to tell everyone that a percussion showcase can be made out of anything. Music comes from the person, not the instrument.
Bryan :Yea, my first drum was my desk!
Nick : You know you're a born percussionist if whenever you see a surface you just wanna do a soundcheck!
What do you guys do in real life?
Jasmine is a school teacher.
Bryan is a full time musician and PR practitioner.
Nick teachers at SOTA/NAFA, has his own company called Latin Beats Production and does dance accompaniment.
Julius is a full time student and part time drummer.
Who do you think you'd like to challenge?
Vertical Dancers, cos there are limitations on what you can do on a mounted pole. Or maybe Rhythm & Moves? Not much choice out there, so depends on who goes out first.
Catch JPU in all their recycled percussion glory on OMG this Wednesday, 8pm on Channel 5!
Are you an awesome drummer? Want to kick some percussion a**? Have you been banging on pots and pans since you were a baby? Or have you got some other talent that will trump any finger-tapping, stick-waving, foot-stomping drumhead? Email producers NOW at omg@mediacorp.com.sg - you could be a Challenger on the show!
Better yet, if you know a super talented friend, email producers and get THEM on the show!

OMG! Theme Song?
Does One Moment Of Glory need a proper theme song?

Jill-Marie and the Singapore Char Siew Baos! seem to think so :) Check out their impromptu jam session just before the show's recording, they came up with a 'theme song' for the show!
Plus sneak peeks from tonight's show, check it out ...

And last but not least, don't you wonder what is making the judges scrunch up their faces like that? Jeng Jeng Jeanggg.... did someone screw up royally?
SO MUCH to look out for in tonight's episode of One Moment Of Glory - not to be missed! 8pm, tonight, only on Channel 5.

OMG Challenger #4 : Akiko
The Japanese Belly-Dancer

How much more exotic can you get on this show? We've got belly dancers from mainland China (Desert Roses) and now we've got a Japanese one. This one comes with her own fans and banners too! Her belly dancing stage name is 'Nadia' and lemme tell you guys, she is one hot ebi tempura. I had such a fun time interviewing her, she is just so 'kawaii'! I loved her accent, she speaks like the typical Japanese lady, very gently, with a certain lilt and while sitting upright with her hands folded daintily on her lap! Love it!
What do you do in real life?
I'm a company secretary for the President of a Japanese company. At night I perform at Shiraz in Clarke Quay. (Shiraz is a Persian restaurant.)
How long have you been belly dancing?
I have been belly dancing for about 4 years. I was recently the national champion for Singapore in a recent competition, just in June this year. I also just recently performed for the YOG (Youth Olympic Games). In the 2009 Asia League for belly dancing, I was ranked #2 .
Why did you join OMG!?
I want to showcase my culture and also showcase belly dancing. Basically I add other styles of dancing into my performance, like Japanese or fusion. I want to show my own culture and my own art, combined together, and show the people in Singapore how interesting this form of dance is.
What would you do if you won the $50,000?
Actually, belly dancing costs a lot of money. I need to use that money to invest in my dancing. One belly dancing costume can cost more than $1,000! I buy mine from Turkey, so I'll probably need to spend about $10,000 on just getting new costumes. I also want to invest in my learning too. I need to polish up my skills, so I want to go to Cairo again to train with the Master teachers. Each course is at least $2,000 - $3,000. If I have any left over, I will spend the money to invite my Japanese family to Singapore. I actually also want to create my own studio in my home so that I can dance 24 hours :) LOL! I am such a narcissist!
Who would you most likely challenge?
I want to challenge Danny Koh. The reason is because he beat my friend Fatima. She's my very very very good friend. I'd like to seek revenge for her. Her soul is in my body tonight, she's in Clarke Quay and cannot be here for the show.
Oh wow, so you know Fatima?
Yes, the belly-dancing community here is very small. I have done duet performances with Fatima and we have good chemistry. So I would like to beat Danny for her.
Would you take on Desert Roses?
No. They are here for the same purpose as me which is to showcase belly dancing. So no, I don't want to spoil it for them. We don't want to spoil it for each other.
What do you think of our judges?
They are quite nice, and they have good eyes. Their opinion is exactly the same as mine, like last week, about the Vertical Dancers. Their skill is very very nice but they are separate, cannot be one show. So yea, I thought the same as the judges.
Any favourite judge so far?
I like Irene. I like her comments. Her comments are very unique and straight and honest.
Don't you just love Akiko? She's so candid with her answers, I had so much fun chatting with her. I mean, who says things like "I'm such a narcissist" (btw, she plans to have her home studio near her bedroom, filled with mirrors so she can see herself dancing, like she said, 24 hours a day) and "her soul is in my body"? Who says that? The answer - people who have a good sense of humour and don't take themselves too seriously. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill belly dancer - you gotta check out her performance, the girl comes with props and a kimono. Very Kill Bill.
Catch Akiko/Nadia on OMG! this Wednesday, 8pm only on Channel 5.
If you think you can do better with your hidden talent and are just dying to be on the show, please, email producers at omg@mediacorp.com.sg. We all wanna know what kind of talent is out there in Singapore!

OMG Challenger #3 : Erika Chen
The Sandpainter

I was told that there was a lady coming in to do sandpainting and that she was from China. But from the moment I met Erika (and she opened her mouth to speak), she sounded pretty much local. 26-year old Erika Chen has been in Singapore since she was 15, so instead of sounding Chinese, she sounded more like any other NUS grad. And graduate from NUS she did, with a degree in Quantitative Finance. Phwoar - brainy and beautiful!
What do you do in real life?
I was an asset manager, managing mutual funds, but I've given that up now and am performing full time since June this year. I want to pursue performing. I play the guitar, I compose songs, and I actually use to write songs for a Chinese pop star -
(Don't pray pray ah, Erika even has a manager who hovers right beside me while I interview her - but not in an ominous way like some other managers :) - this guy's nice)
So why'd you join OMG!?
Its a chance to perform to more people. To tell my story in the sand and to touch people with it. 90 seconds is actually a big challenge. You have to develop the story and plan the images and its transitions. So in such a short a time, its difficult to develop the story.
Where do you normally perform?
I was performing for my church and recently, I just came back from Shanghai where I performed in Singapore Day, with Tanya and other Singaporean artistes and it was so very meaningful. There I was in China, my first home, presenting my second home, Singapore.
What would you do with the $50k if you won?
I haven't actually thought about it. And I don't think I'll ever really think about it. I'm here more for the experience of performing on this stage and the exposure. To be honest, when we signed up, we didn't know about the $50k.
Actually, Cirque du Soleil asked for sandpainters to audition for a new production for next year and I have auditioned and gotten the part. So I'll be travelling to Montreal, New York, Moscow etc in 2011. (OMG that is SO amazing! I LURVE Cirque!!)
So, I'm doing this show for the memories, the experience.
Who do you think you'll be challenging?
I'll make an impromptu decision when I get to the stage. But not the dancers. Probably the singers/composers. And probably a one-to-one fight, so maybe David or Jill.
What do you think of our judges?
They are very encouraging! There is no Simon Cowell thank goodness! Their criticisms are all helpful. I want everyone's approval. I think the most difficult part is to have a connection with them.
Bet you guys were wondering why Erika is choosing to challenge the singer-songwriters? Well, Erika's not just gonna be sandpainting, she's gonna be singing while she paints her sand story. She'll be singing "Heaven" by Bryan Adams.
Catch Erika perform, this Wednesday on OMG!, 8pm only on Channel 5.
Have you got a talent as interesting and unique as Erika's? Go join Cirque du Soleil! Oh but before you do, come join OMG! - producers are on the look out for more Challengers, so if you think you have what it takes to knock any of the contenders off their podiums, send producers a note at omg@mediacorp.com.sg NOW!

OMG Challenger #2 : Robert Tan
The Golden Oldie

44-year old Robert Tan is a singer and a musician. He certainly looks the part, in a shiny shirt, black vest and sunglasses indoors. His voice is deep and clear and he speaks with a clarity normally associated with radio DJs. He sings oldies, rock and roll and jazz, but what sets him apart from other crooners is the fact that Robert was born blind.
How amazing is that? He's blind, but he plays the piano and the guitar (although he admits, the piano is his better instrument), and on the night of the recording, he had more fans than even Luminiq Crew! His fans were super supportive and it just made Robert's story all the more heartwarming.
So why'd you join OMG!?
I want to seize any opportunity to leverage my talents and of course not forgetting the $50,000.
What would you do with the $50k if you won?
I would like to start a business, an IT business. Or further my education in music, probably a Diploma in Piano or classical or pop/jazz music, from London College of Music. Certain schools here offer the course that is tied to London College of Music.
A business in IT? Why IT?
I was a software engineer from 1993 - 2003, so its something that I am familiar with.
How did you get started out in music?
I joined Talentime in school when I was 8 and won some trophies in my younger days for singing. I had learned to play the piano from about 8 or 9 years old, and started to play it more seriously when I was 15 or 16. I'd had about 3 to 4 different teachers by then. I picked up the guitar along the way with friends at school.
So what do you do in real life now?
I'm a freelance musician and music teacher, I teach the piano.
Who would you most likely challenge?
My first choice would be David Lin. I think he's been up on the podium too long :) Failing which I will challenge Jill Marie and my last choice would be Singapore Char Siew Baos. But quite unlikely because they just joined the show last week.
Looks like you have a strategy...
My strategy is first I'm going after people in the same genre. Followed by who is the weakest.
What do you think of the judges?
They are showbiz people in one way or another, so to get tips from them is quite invaluable. I guess FD is one of the more practical ones in terms of his feedback. I agree with what he says, you may have talent, but can you entertain people?
So do you think you can (entertain people)?
70% - 90% yes. :)
Robert will be tearing up the piano keys with Rock Around the Clock, so catch him on Episode 5 of One Moment of Glory! this Wednesday, 8pm only on Channel 5. Its the second last Survival Round, just 2 weeks to go before its Eliminations - who will be the best 8 contenders entering the next phase of the show?
Do you have an amazing story and talent worthy of the $50,000 prize? Email omg@mediacorp.com.sg, producers want YOU!
