Good morning and Happy National Day to all Singaporeans :) What a great day to premiere a brand new show showcasing talent in Singapore.
Desert Roses
Meet belly-dancing trio Susan, Sophia and Jessy. Super hot and sexy, these three are ready to jiggle and wiggle their way into your hearts. (This picture features just Sophia and Jessy)
Luminiq Crew
Street dance group Luminiq Crew is made up of 7 b-boys - Afiq, Faiza, Danial, Spyro, Hamster, Azmi and Vicky. Totally self-taught, they're a tight crew ready to bring b-boying to the forefront. Look out for power-movers Faiz and Vicky (who does flips!).
Jumping Jewels
Competitive rope-skipping is a growing sport and these four have been at it for the past 5 years, participating in skipping competitions around the region. Its double dutch time!
Bottle Flipz
Flair bartenders Shah and Kenny make a living flipping bottles and now want to bring this little known competitive sport to the general public. Think Tom Cruise in Cocktail, but double the trouble.
Chii Kwang & Dawn
Probably the cutest act of the night, West Highland Terrier Dawn and her trainer Chii Kwang will showcase some of her best tricks that have won her numerous competitions and accolades (her resume runs 3 pages long!).
David Lin
Singer-songwriter David grew up here but has since travelled the world finding love and finding himself. He's back in Singapore now to win audiences over with his experiences through song.
Danny Koh
Professional magician for the past 9 years and fire artiste for the past 6 years, be prepared to feel the heat!
Jeremy Tan
At just 19, Jeremy is an accomplished circus performer. Some of his many circus talents include fire twirling, fire eating, fire breathing and juggling. But tonight, he'll be showcasing his skills with an instrument called The Diablo.
Jai-Ho
Another 7-member dance group made up of 6 girls and one Rock. The single dude in the group is called Rock, I kid you not, and the girls are Shaili, Hwee Kian, Stephanie, Faezah and Wendy. They bring a combination of dance styles from hip-hop, bhangra, fusion and freestyling.
Elvis
Kamaraj Gopal has been listening to Elvis since her was 5, and although The King's shoes are big ones to fill, his big motivation for the show is to win and put that $50,000 to good use for his daughter Sonya's medical bills - she has cerebral palsy.
