Idle on Idol, catch up on TV

Its been all busy as a bee behind the scenes on the Idol front; what with the whole MJ leaving, Nurul coming in, major Top 13 press conference on Monday, 8Days cover shoot on Tuesday, Vocal training, choreo sessions, profile shoots, key checks, etc etc etc happening every day.....plus an upcoming roadshow on Saturday.

Its tough just keeping up with them. *Phew* typing that was tiring....

But today (technically yesterday since its already 1am on Thursday), with no LIVE show to attend, I suddenly felt like I was on a mini holiday.

So what does a TV addict do on a mini holiday? Watch more TV la doh!

I've just watched the new CW series Vampire Diaries, the first episode of America's Next Top Model (Cycle 12 I think, which was aired in the US earlier this year, they're on to Cycle 13 right now, which is dubbed the 'Kate Moss' season cos they are looking for a 'short' model LOL!), Melrose Place and very soon Gossip Girl Season 3.

So far, have seen Vampire Diaries and I'm likin' it! Very refreshing!

What shows are you looking forward to this season? I personally cannot wait to catch - Beautiful Life (the Mushy oops Mischa Barton New York model vehicle), the latest seasons of Survivor, Amazing Race and Project Runway, plus Eastwick (3 witches, like Charmed but less cotton candy, and the witches are older - hey we're talkin' Rebecca Romjin and Lindsay Price who are HAWT k!) and new seasons of Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer (wat! I LIKE ok...its the touching stories that get me! And c'mon, what other series has a husband that comes back from the dead and inhabits another man's body, thus giving the couple a 2nd chance at romance?? <-- sweet rite?)

ps. in case you're wondering whether I've become a pirate ....hellooo...i'm very law abiding waaan...am watching them on either Channel 5, mio TV or Starworld la....(yes, I have both Starhub and SingTel services - how not to? TV ADDICT remember?)

Random Post : Saved By The Bell Reunion?

This may be a bit beyond your years, but if you're about the same age as I am, you probably grew up watching Saved By The Bell. Fell in love with Mark Paul Gosselaar (and learned to spell his name right, this was great practice for memorising hot actors' names later on like Milo Ventimiglia) laughed at Dustin Diamond and wanted to be as pretty as Tiffani Amber Thiessen.

When the show ended, the cast went and did other things. Tiffani (who dropped the Amber to sound more grown-up maybe?) was cast on a lil show called 90210 as the new resident bitch once Original Biatch Shannen Doherty stomped off the soundstage in a diva huff.

Who knows what she's been up to since 90210 ended (ok, she was on FastLane with her ex costar (Jennie Garth)'s husband, but that show got canned as fast as it got aired). To be honest, I've not kept up with her career...so I was really pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this.

She's quite funny :) and still lookin' pretty hawt!

Gossip Girl Season 3 premieres in US in less than a month!

OMG, I so wish I lived in the US like now. Gossip Girl's 3rd season is coming back in less than a month!

I can only hope mio TV has Season 3 lined up for us here in Singapore. I'm all prepared to pay for the entire season like NOW. I mean HELLO, this is Gossip Girl we are talkin' about here! Transfer funds immediately!

The Bachelorette : Men Tell All Special - SURPRISE!

Just noticed, Ed looks damn pui-pui (fat) here! Kiptyn looks like his suit doesnt fit. And Reid, poor Reid, looks the best outta the 3.

UPDATE ON THE BACHELORETTE :

Bachelorette Jillian Harris is down to 2 men.

Kiptyn Locke and Ed Swiderski.

Last week she sent home Reid Rosenthal, this guy right here, cos he couldn't say those 3 little words.

The week before she sent home this guy, Wes Hayden, all-round-no-goodnik or victim of bad editing?

Well, we're meant to see all that in this week's Men Tell All special (the traditional 'reunion' episode where all the eliminated men return to 'tell all'). Coincidentally, Wes and Reid are no-shows. What are producers up to now??
